The endless war ends

Perhaps I'm excessively naive, but I'd been under the impression all this time that the residue of the Treaty of Versailles had been rolled into the settlement imposed in the outcome of WWII. Is there some legal residue left over from that that Germany, and Japan, still "owe?"
