Abuse of power in the age of Obama

Thought experiment: If a Republican administration fired an inspector general watchdog under dodgy circumstances, would the story be confined to the cranky end of the blogosphere?

No.

Next Question?

Perhaps, but in loving, kind sort of way.

Ah yes, that old compassionate conservatism thing. Gotcha.

Hell, the press went nuts when Bush's AG fired a handful of Justice Department employees who serve at the pleasure of the President.

I never have thought highly of Michelle Malkin's more strident screeds but, in fairness to her, she has been all over the casual illegalities of the Obama, Axelrod and Emmanuel cabal since before the election. This very story is one she championed all along, including getting interviews with the fired IG practically on the day he was let go. She is all over these crooks, doing the work the newspapers will not do.
