Helping NASA by watching television

Most regular readers know that Anthony Watts has made a project of doing due diligence on the government's surface temperature measurement stations, using the distributed readership of his blog to note physical and administrative factors that might influence the temperature readings. Among his other contributions, he has located stations that have mysteriously dropped out of the main temperature database over the years. Now he's found one just by watching television! Hilarious, fascinating, and scary, all at once.

These cretins are going to cripple the world economy for the next 100 years based on phony data

No, they are not going to cripple the world economy -- they are going to cripple the US economy, send it back to the 18th Century.

The Euros will never follow through on any climate agreement. They have not followed through on Kyoto. What would be different this time? And the French will be making a fortune building nuclear power plants across the world.

The Chinese & Indians will be happy to take Western (i.e., US) money, but they have no intention of remaining in griding poverty. Build & burn, baby!

The Russians will take advantage of as many of the parties as they can.

And the US will go into the cold night of history, as the other players drive atmospheric CO2 to new highs.

Fortunately, alleged Anthropogenic Global Warming is unscientific nonsense. There is nothing to fear from CO2 -- and lots to fear from those who would use it to achieve the functional equivalent of defeating the US in a World War.

The temperature record is proven to be reliable, the Urban Heat Island is accounted for:

And I look forward to someday betting with Kinuach over whether global warming is a hoax.
