Did I mention I like RFC Radio?

I like RFC Radio, the internet "radio for conservatives." I like the music list, the news, and the fact that it quotes bloggers we all know on a regular basis (although I am not aware that this blog has been mentioned). Anyway, if you click on the badge at the bottom of our sidebar you can listen along while you do your thing.

And, no, they did not pay me to write that. I just like it.

Why not Michel Martin on NPR? Interesting shows, no wingnut Obama derangement syndrome, choir preaching to an increasingly smaller, marginalized groups of nutcases, hopeful rednecks. It would you care about the country. All of it.

Great concept.

NPR makes me laugh...silly people without British accents trying to be the BBC...on our tax dollar.

With our Congress new 51% "mandate", and attitudes like the post above, RFC may become the new "Radio Free America" once the Fairness Doctrine is passed by Dear Leader.

I do listen to NPR in my car, but my commute is only about 10-15 minutes so that is the extent of it. I'm actually not a big radio person, but RFC is mostly music and not bad background if I am sitting in my home office writing blog posts.

TigerHawk & Readers:

This is "E," the Exec VP and Talent Scout for RFC Radio.

Be assured that TigerHawk will be mentioned on RFC's "In the Media" page just as soon as I can collect ALL the links and quotes of adoration from around the blogosphere. There are so many...

;-)

While you're waiting for your RFC link-up, do keep listening, and maybe pop into the Chat room once in awhile. It is a politically incorrect zone, conservative-style. (Bill Maher is invited to kiss RFC Radio's a**.)

Cordially,
E.

P.S. RFC Radio says: NPR is for sissies.

I use NPR as punishment for the kids! I tell them "Stop fighting or I'm turning on NPR!" It's hillarious to hear a 4 year old saying "No! Not NPR!" RFC is a rockin good time! I'm the host of "The Unkle Bonehead Show" on Saturday's at 8pm est. If you like your rock on the hard side, and some strange humor thrown in you'll love my show!

I'm hanging onto that one...

I have some very deep-seated resentment for NPR, but I must admit that Garrison Keillor is a guilty pleasure - socialist that he is. I invite everyone to listen to my show - "The JunkMan Show" on Wednesdays at 5 Eastern on RFC Radio. I spent about a decade on terrestrial radio, but as a pure rock-n-roll DJ, I wasn't allowed to engage in any political pontification. Now I have no such restrictions, and the result is a vastly improved show! My format could be described as "Timeless AOR" (album-oriented rock) in that it spans the 40-plus years between 1965 and the present day, and there are no limitations as to style - it's pretty freakin' schizophrenic, as a matter of fact. I couldn't be more thrilled than to know that TigerHawk is a fan of our venture. Come over and find out what kind of damage can be done by conservatives with two turntables and a microphone . . .
