Even as a child, the first year this came out, I recognised this as a great moment in simplicity.

Agree with AVI. A great scene. I have the tape and my 6 year old nephew knows this passage by heart. Had hoped to get him to recite it for church, but he is just too shy and won't recite it before a crowd of more than one. Oh well. Maybe next year.

You can wonder why those sheapards would be afraid at first becuase here its dark night and suddenly the light comes shinning down angeles start appearing and their singing in the air it would be a rather frightining event
