A point in Obama's favor

I am not sure how important this is in a president, but Barack Obama seems to be a genuinely decent fellow. For example, it is hard to imagine Hillary (or, for that matter, Rudy Giuliani) doing this.

interesting dilemma -

helping feels like the right thing to do; but is it?

Shouldn't Richardson have been listening?

If a friend of your son were to look to him for help on a pop quiz for which he was unprepared, and your son lent him a hand, would that be the right thing?

If he were to prompt him, he might get busted for cheating, right?

I agree, it was nice, but I'm not sure it was right...

Life is not a school room, not a game.

There are two good things to look at here.

1. is the admission of inattention and the public recognition of the flotation-ring toss.

2. The flotation-ring toss.

I and usually placed (be friends and enemies alike) some where to the right of the famous Hun, but I have to tell you the best looking candidates still in play are in the Democrat side of stuff.

It is not clear, Larry, that a presidential campaign is not a game...

It may be that this story is something of a touchstone, and one's reaction to it may say as much about the observer as the participants.

With Richardson being DOA anyway, there's nothing to lose by helping out a non-threat.

Richardson is a rather infamous suckup, so that outlines his motivations. Still, it's difficult to make something like that up out of whole cloth, and relatively easily checked on tape, so yeah, it does say something nice about Obama.

I like Obama, but I also think he's one the most gifted BSers I've seen in awhile. Frankly, I think he missed his calling; he could've made a fortune on Wall Street.

I'm sorry, but that is not a huge deal.

I want to know how he afforded the mansion on the southside (with his partner Rezko, who was locked up in jail lastnight for an undeclared $3.5 million wire payment, suggesting he is involved in money laudnering.)

Do you know how hard it is for a white color criminal to get locked up???
