Tiger, tiger, gleaming bright

I'm off to Princeton Stadium to see Tigers and Lions do battle. Then I'm flying to Dublin. I'll bring my camera both places.

So what's the 411 on this defensive struggle/trench warfare/3 yards and a cloud of dust...oops...nevermind. It was 42-32 Tigers.

When in Dublin, I suggest a visit to the Chester Beatty Library. It's really a museum of Asian manuscripts, but it's really a marvelous place. Beatty was a mining engineer who dropped out of Princeton after a year and graduated from the Columbia School of Mines.

Speaking also of Dublin and Princeton, after the game there was a special on cable about the English atrocities, rampage in Ireland brought by Oliver Cromwell, then William of Nassau (aka of Orange...from whom the alma mater takes it's colors and other name) and then 1915-1925. Hey, one man's freedom fighter is another's terrorist. One lady's Enduring Freedom is another's criminal army of occupation. One person's carnage is another's college.
