My whereabouts
This year, we are spending our week in the Adirondacks now, rather than in August. I took the picture below last year, but this is, legitimately, the view from my window.

Very nice, bud! And I think June might even be preferable to August. The nights will be chillier, but the days won't be as sultry. Please post more. I can smell that clean mountain air just looking at them.

August is "black fly" season up there...your just a few (3 or 4) hours drive from my area. Enjoy!
