UPDATE: I just learned from the TigerHawk mother that the 'Villain is on his way to Singapore, so I will have to sneak in a little blogging notwithstanding the heavy travel schedule. No problem.

Here's an assignment for the Villain: look into the rumors that swirled last week about Iowa's head coach, Kirk Ferenz. Rumor was that the Miami Dolphins are interested in him. His name has cropped up (along with Cal's Jeff Tedford and Utah's Urban Meyer) as the three guys who might move on after this season. The buzz last week was that Tedford could be Washington's first choice, while Meyer could be Florida's, and, of course, this was just the rumor mill. Then again, if the smoke at Ohio State turns into fire, could Ferenz head to Columbus?
So, Villain, do some digging, talk to us about Ferenz's plans, and, also, tell us about Iowa's succession planning? Who takes over if Ferenz bolts?
